When I first started my blog, I had originally thought I’d focus primarily on food. My idea was I could share my favorite restaurants and recipes! Things have obviously evolved, but I still love sharing both of those and have been working harder to share more of my fave recipes!

One recipe that I make pretty regularly is Stromboli! I love pizza, but prefer mine with lighter sauce. Stromboli allows me to have everything I love in a pizza with the lighter, or in some cases complete lack of sauce! This recipe is super easy and is even a healthier option than other Stromboli or pizzas out there!

  1. Make your dough! Follow the super quick and easy steps on the Evolve Pizza Dough Mix to make your dough. Add water, olive oil, and mix to a bowl and combine. Once combined, I added Italian Seasoning for extra flavor. I added about 1 tablespoon.
  1. In a pan on medium-low heat, cook your chicken sausage.
  2. While the sausage is cooking, dice up your onions and peppers (or any other veggies you’d want).
  3. Roll our your dough on parchment paper till about the width of your finger.
  1. On half of the dough, add your meat, veggies, cheese, and a little more Italian Seasoning.
  2. Using the parchment paper, fold the other half of the dough over the toppings and press to seal.
  3. Brush melted butter, minced garlic, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top of the Stromboli.
  1. Bake for 45 minutes at 375 or until desired crispiness.
  2. Serve and Enjoy!!
