When I first started my blog, I had originally thought I’d focus primarily on food. My idea was I could share my favorite restaurants and recipes! Things have obviously evolved, but I still love sharing both of those and have been working harder to share more of my fave recipes!
One recipe that I make pretty regularly is Stromboli! I love pizza, but prefer mine with lighter sauce. Stromboli allows me to have everything I love in a pizza with the lighter, or in some cases complete lack of sauce! This recipe is super easy and is even a healthier option than other Stromboli or pizzas out there!
Ingredients

Water
Olive Oil
Italian Seasoning
Mozzarella
Parmesan
Spicy Italian Chicken Sausage
Green Peppers

Steps
- Make your dough! Follow the super quick and easy steps on the Evolve Pizza Dough Mix to make your dough. Add water, olive oil, and mix to a bowl and combine. Once combined, I added Italian Seasoning for extra flavor. I added about 1 tablespoon.

- In a pan on medium-low heat, cook your chicken sausage.
- While the sausage is cooking, dice up your onions and peppers (or any other veggies you’d want).
- Roll our your dough on parchment paper till about the width of your finger.

- On half of the dough, add your meat, veggies, cheese, and a little more Italian Seasoning.
- Using the parchment paper, fold the other half of the dough over the toppings and press to seal.
- Brush melted butter, minced garlic, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top of the Stromboli.

- Bake for 45 minutes at 375 or until desired crispiness.
- Serve and Enjoy!!
