Happy Monday Friends!

The light at the end of the tunnel that is the 2020-21 school is in sight and you guys, I am pretty pumped! Even in-spite of the craziness that has been the past year, I can honestly say, this has been one of the best school years yet. I started working in a new district this school year, and also starting teaching a new grade (high school juniors!!) and even though each day wasn’t perfect, I feel so blessed that I work with so many incredible teachers and administrators, and some even more incredible kids. This year will certainly be one I always remember, but for truly more good reasons than bad.

Looking back though to when I first decided to become a teacher, one thing I’d always say was that I never wanted to dress like a teacher. I always felt like teachers when I was in school wore khakis, sweater-sets, and ugly shoes.
